What should I have?
Once you’ve made the decision to commission a sitting. A meeting will be arranged to rally with me in person and discuss the details and expectations of your shoot. This is the experience to bring any issues to the table as well as thoughts and ideas that you would like to have incorporated into your sitting. Chiefly at the end of that same meeting, I will take a series of color Polaroids to study.My messy basement-studio.
Can I instruction custom made regular clothes, like prom dresses or jackets?
Yes! While we specialize in anime or Cosplay costumes, we fashion ‘regular’ clothes as well.
What payment types do you take?
I prefer payments via PayPal, but I will also accept Money Orders. Ecumenical orders via PayPal or International Money Orders in USDollars only. If you certainly have to, you can send a check or cash, but let me know a head of heyday, and I will have to wait for the check to clear, so take that into account when estimating heretofore. Time estimates are for the costume construction only! ha! You read the FAQ! I do not publish prices because I submit you to get in contact with me.
What are the rules about costumes and why are they there?
begginers must have plain costumes (one conceal) or they may wear a different coloured top and bottoms but no stones allowed. Where do I find hick fool around costumes?
Costumes can be purchased from clown suppliers, but if you are nothing but starting out and don’t know if this is the lifestyle for you, try finding colorful clothes of your own through more conventional means (go to Goodwill or a thrift store, buy a sewing pattern for a rustic costume - or a pajama pattern and use colorful clothes). Before you invest in the expense of having a skilful costume made or purchased, try other ideas first.

GAH Costume
Hours 1-3: Some material progress. I cut out all the pieces, and it really looked like it was coming together.
Hours 4-5: Realized I had become the schlemiel of faulty advertising, as the pattern did not say that the lining would be the entire back of the vest. Cut more pieces, managed to get well-founded enough our of the fabric I had. Cursing and mental anguish ensued as I realized this simulate wasn't going to cut it (no pun intended), and decided in a rage that I should embargo all McCalls patterns.
Hours 5-7: Figured out how to make it line and then cut it too short, but was just too tired to get angry.
And that's only half of the costume!
Style: Turned out the pattern for the bottom half was too small. WELL THAT JUST THROWS IT OUT THE WINDOW NOW. Beat for a wardrobe/thrift store costume y'all.

A Sewing We Will Go
I have knowledge of I’m not the only one out there who was/is doing this, frantically planning and cutting out fabric to sew up a handmade Halloween costume. Why do we do this to ourselves? I regard as it has a little do to with stories like this one.
A long time ago, in a hicksville not too far away from where I’m sitting and typing, there was a little girl living in outport Newfoundland who wanted to be a ballet dancer (well, as a matter of fact, if you’d asked me at the time I may have meant ballet dancer but I said belly dancer. My mother couldn’t symbol out for the life of her where I’d gotten the idea to become a belly dancer. Don’t get me illegitimate, none of us have any negative associations with belly dancing. It is just that in the at daybreak 1970’s in outport Newfoundland, the thought of a four year old wanting to become a belly dancer would have created something of a stir. Mudder conclusively figured out that I meant ballet dancer, after I gave her a explanation of my prowess).

Happy Tuesday.
Well, last week Maggie and Nate firm that they wanted to be a dinosaur and a tiger for Halloween. They saw some sewing patterns that I have, and made up their minds on the section. Cassie has wanted to be Barbie Mariposa for about a year now, and was convinced we could find one in the store.
After the girls got on the bus last Thursday, Nate, Lino and I headed to the construction store. We found some great deals on fleece and striped cloth. (around $20 for all of it) Saturday we went looking for Cassie's costume. Lino discovered 2 several Mariposa's in the aisle, miraculously both in her size;and they were the only 2 left! Cassie cut in love with one of them, so that solves that.
Head to Target for sparkly pink shoes and then home. Cassie tries on her costume, as lickety-split as she takes it off, it starts to rip. I am pretty confident that I can fix it, but I also offered to achieve her one, too, now that I know what Mariposa looks like. She wants no part of it. She adores the rely on bought one, so I will get it all fixed up for Halloween.
I had traced/cut out the patterns and started sewing the dinosaur on Sunday. Made some noble progress. The feet had me a bit confused, but Monday I took some all at once to really figure it out. The instructions weren't super eliminate, so I was confused on some of the steps. Now that I figured it out, it makes perfect intuit! Now I just have to decipher how they say to attach the feet to the legs!
Unfortunately, it took longer than I expected to do the feet, and I am a bit behind. No worries, though, I have 3 days to get them done!
I imagine when the dinosaur is finished it will look super cute. Maggie tried some of it on so I could cadence cuffs, she loves it. She picked the colors, purple core and green spines. I just hope she isn't called Barney all evening long!
