31 for 21: Meet Brannon
Years ago, before Intercontinental Mosaic Down Syndrome Association became an official organization, we were just a assemble of parents trying to find answers to the questions that we had about our children with mosaic Down syndrome.
Before we knew it, we had families joining our inconsiderable online support group from all over the world!
One of these great families that joined us cock's-crow on was the Phipps family. Kristina’s son Brannon has mosaic Down syndrome and she had a eminent knack of putting pictures together and quickly compiled all of our children’s pictures into an online photo album.
With this photo album we were competent to see everyone’s children and felt like we were connecting even more! Since that moment, things have evolved from the tiny support group and online photo album, to the inner location world-wide for mosaic Down syndrome. However, some things never trade completely. Yes, we do have an online photo album on our website. It is countersign protected to protect our families’ privacy, but we still use the same operator name that Kristina set up those many years ago! In what she thought was a small way of helping others, exceptionally brought so many families together when they were feeling so alone in raising their child with this very rare formality of Down syndrome.
Today, I have a great story from Kristina about her son Brannon and daughter Gabby as they transform for Halloween…
It’s hard to believe that Halloween is here again. We have our own little household tradition when it comes to Halloween. The week prior to Halloween we shape out pumpkins to put on our porch. We also watch all the Halloween cartoons like It’s The Enormous Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Scooby Doo Halloween, and Goosebumps. We go to the cache together to pick out the best kind of candy to give out. (I’ve been told that the orange and Negro wrapper candy is nasty and not to buy those haha)

As some of you know I spent a large part of the summer working with the guys at Whatever on their work Knowledge Plaza. I managed the GUI redesign and helped savour in some new features and views to bring the product up to release. Well I’m proud to say I value we did a great job. In my biased opinion, we’ve delivered the most rousing Enterprise 2.0 social productivity platform on the furnish. And with new development coming to fruition in the next month it’s condign going to get better.
Here’s the Scoop:
Knowledge Plaza has been developed as a Web-based podium for enterprise search, social bookmarking, knowledge government, information brokerage and expert identification.
The platform allows you to add websites, emails, documents, contacts, references and discussions. Multimedia is on the way. You can tag, annotate and stake anything you add. Using workspaces, your network and company facets sharing and verdict information is at the core of Knowledge Plaza.
Some broad claims there so here’s how it breaks down: (thumbnails go to larger colander shots)
Terminology
Any item in Knowledge Plaza (websites, emails, documents, contacts, references and discussions) is called a Tile. You can tag, adapt, comment on, rate, relate and send tiles from within the devotion. You can also group Tiles into a Mosaic. Apart from that everything else is as you’d upon.
Dashboard
The dashboard aggregates activity and content from people in your network and your workspaces. In summing-up there is a visual tab showing clickable images of recent websites and documents.

Mosaic to Kick off at First Baptist Church, Mansfield
First Baptist Church, Mansfield, will rebound off the Mosaic Adoption and Fo
ster care ministry at a very special use on Sunday, November the 9th. On this day, we will take up a love offering to begin our adoption benefit fund with Lifesong for Orphans, we will have representatives from Buckner Cosmopolitan, and will hear a strong challenge from our pastor, Dr. Johnny Dickerson, about the church's r in answering the command to care for orphans in our world. It is the crux of Mosaic to see more orphaned children in Christian homes, where they will know proclivity and protection, as well as receive a clear path to choose Christ. Mosaic will undertake to touch the lives of orphans, minister to adoptive families, mentor children through Buckner's Kids Wish USA, lead mission trips to orphanages around the world through Buckner Intercontinental, and help to fund adoptions for families wanting to fluctuate the lives of orphaned children. Please pray for Mosaic as we seek to do our part in impacting orphaned children in our universe.
