DIY Project - Signed Fabric Squares
This next is so rapt, I just had to share it with you. Signed Fabric Squares that can then be stitched into a quilt or a massive wall hanging. I never would have thought of this idea, and yet I absolutely adoration it.
Instructions
1. Draw or design the background pattern, leaving a view for signing
2. Go to your local t-shirt shop and ask them to make a interview (or, they could do the whole printing, really)
3. Wash and dry 100 percent cotton fabric–it could be any color, but trifling enough to see the pen.
4. Get some textile ink from any common craft store.
5. Cut your fabric to pieces larger than quarter to be screened.
6. Lay down screen, place some ink, and use a squeegee to pull the ink across the openings (there are many apart from web tutorials for this part).
7. Make sure you have plenty of extra fabric–and aim for a few more than you think you’ll need.
8. Have guests sign them with Micron pigma pens in whatever color you like.

Plus Size LIttle Black Dress from my fabric
I have a teensy-weensy over two yards of great nylon and lycra fabric in black. This is ambience to heavy weight swimsuit fabric and I would like a dress made from it.
All things being equal I would like sleeves but I really don't think there is enough fabric. I hankering a-line/tent shape or empire with semi bespoke bodice and gathered skirt. Think maternity. I am not teeming just have that build. Scoop or v-neck.
I would be open to sleeves of a abundant fabric if you have something creative in mind.
I will supply you with a variety of measurements for you to use in your origin.
I want someone who is experienced in sewing on this kind of fabric. I expect mark work including clean serged seams.
Please send me photos of your industry. Price is negotiable to a certain extent.

Artygirlz - fabric
Julie and Crissi have made some consequential examples - whimsical and fun - using fabric on their artwork. That’s the Artygirlz invite this week. I too am entering a canvas, though the use of fabric may not be too obvious. However, if you look closely you can see I have utilized a fair bit of muslin and hessian to form texture on this tainted media canvas - “Oasis - Light & Dusk”.
Sadly, scanning it hasn’t shown the brilliancy of the black, which just looks grey in this pic, but it’s a exceptionally rich dark and light canvas and I’m so walking on air with it. It’s acrylics and multi-textured, using that hot Oasis stamp again and the highlights are done with silver acrylic, applied with 2 fingertips!!
I finished all my canvasses today, so I can decrease a little, but I still have bookmarks to make and probably another couple of bags, provided I have once in a while! When I booked my table, November 8th seemed so far away… now it’s looming. Ah well… back to profession!
