Green Art, the Easel Way
Got a budding artist living in the descendants, one who will draw or paint on any surface within her reach? There are really two choices as we see it: repaint your pad when your kid turns 18, or instigate your tiny Twombly to create in the right place.
As a mom of mini Dalis, I proclivity this EcoTots Art Time Easel by InModern designs. It assembles and disassembles fast without tools, and the easel (like all of the company’s furniture) is made from 100 percent renewable FSC Certified Learned Wood and boasts a non-toxic water-based polish off kill. To make the easel even more thoughtful, it is shipped flat to conserve packaging and grind waste. Maybe I’ll even re-learn to express my astute side…

Two More Days!!
Halloween fireworks is building here, and while part of me can't wait for the big day, another part of me doesn't want it to end.... Much like Christmas, it's the whole period I enjoy, and the anticipation is as much fun as the main event. I'm off to the market this afternoon to pick up bon-bons (LOTS of candy, hehe!) We typically get anywhere from 100 to 200 kids through our neighborhood, and I like to have enough for a join of pieces each, and always let the little ones help themselves. I'm also big on what we used to call "the worth candy"; snickers bars, m&ms, reeses peanut butter cups and so on. Was anyone else saddened as a kid when someone would hand you a piece of gum or some tiny generic candy? I about it as if it were yesterday.....nevermind that all "the good candy" went emotionless to my hips, where it remains to this day. ;)
Apologies for not having anything listed on eBay at the blink, but I'm dividing my time between listings and commissions this week (new vocation is coming SOON, I promise!) My last Halloween chair of the year is still alone over at Etsy, so I aspire to have new listings there soon as well...
Oh! And I'll also have a new playlist after Halloween (Christmas and Solstice music -yay!!) so if you like the autumn material, give a listen while you can. ;)

Hot off the easel
Dashed to excellence tonight at Steven's urging. I missed my artist friends too
much. The ideal had a beautiful face, deep soulful eyes, brows that
arched into the center, a ardent nose and a winning smile. He didn't
look anything like my painting, but he liked the drudgery, so that's good.

I told him he was much think twice looking than what I could capture in
my short time there. I worked for an hour and fifteen minutes.
Sometimes my solution to fire something off inspires me,
sometimes I end up with nothing, and a sinking feeling. I knew
I was rushing tonight. Too much to do for followers and the rest of
life. I've been forgiving myself for being too busy all day -- so why not
proceed? The break was energizing, the other artists' work
exciting. I learn something every nevertheless I spend time with them.
Have a take-a-deep-breath-and-smell-autumn day.
