If I were a tutor in a preschool or daycare facility, I would definitely buy one of these double-sided classroom unfurl easels. As a teacher, you don’t want to bombard the kids with too much information at one together and with this 2 sided educational easel, you don’t have to. Teach the little ones letters in the morning and altogether turn the solid oak wooden easel around to teach numbers after naptime! Adapt these lessons in advance and think about how much time you’ll save!
Classroom exhibition easels are also excellent alternatives to using just one chalkboard in the front of the scope. I remember being in school and seeing the main chalkboard get so cloudy from quotidian lesson plans, I thought I needed glasses. Not to acknowledgement, I think all that chalk was terrible for the sinuses. I don’t know about you, but all that especially chalk made me sneeze! If only my teachers used an alternative like a classroom advertise easel to give the main chalkboard a rest, they wouldn’t have to keep washing it with that nauseating sponge! The children may not pick up on how organized you are, but the other teachers doubtlessly will! …Especially the ones with the chalk all over their shirts and pants.
Classroom show off easels give you the option to move around the room anytime you like! Allow the kids to traverse with the board wherever you decide to place it. Kids like to move around and you could use the training… I mean… change...

Curriculum of Curiosity

Often, in eerie research and theory, you find the same ideas expressed with different words, by various people, at different times.
You read about an “intoxicating new innovation” that, if you have been around for awhile, you realize you’ve heard before. Books are written that employ new jargon to old ideas. You explore an educator’s engaging ideas further and find out someone else was doing the same work twenty years before, in a different boondocks.
After awhile, you begin to realize that ideas that resonate around something faithful will rise and rise again, until they are recognized by many people in many places.
After reading about knowledge for more than a decade, I find that I am drawn again and again to the same core ideas, no matter who is talking about them — veritable art, children orchestrating their own learning, thoughtful and purposeful adults working with children, wish-term projects.
Reggio educators talk about “provocations” — dispassionate and thoughtful actions taken by adults to provoke or carry on children’s thinking.
Unschoolers talk about “strewing” the habitat.
This shared concept recognizes that children (like all people) would rather judge their own discoveries than be told what to do.
One very successful experiment we made with a group of three- and four-year-olds: We set a fair bouquet of spring daffodils in the art studio in a beautiful vase, on a miniature pine table. Next to the table was an easel, a very familiar position in the studio, which had several easels. Instead of being set up with the normal selection of paints, however, there were many trifocals jars filled with an abundance of different shades of yellow and leafy. Not just one yellow, but six different subtle shades of yellow. Not only just one green, but an amazing selection of greens, from light citrusy na-yellow to dark glossy green.

Melissa and Doug Deluxe Conventional Easel

Customer Reviews
Finest easel for the money
My husband and I are big fans of pretty much everything Melissa and Doug for our son. This toy is to be a Christmas dole, but I actually saw it in use at a friend's home. She has had it for several children now and it looks due as good as it did. I feel confident that our son will enjoy it for years to recover consciousness as well as his new sibling to share!
Good product
I bought the Melissa and Doug Deluxe order easel for my preschool classroom. I have been very pleased with it so far. It seems to be durable and has taken a lot of bumping and telling around well. What I like most about it is that both the dry erase board and the chalkboard wipe off entirely clean. There is never marker or chalk residue left over. Putting the easel together was also very leisurely. The only thing I don't like about this easel is that folding it flat is of a mediocre of a long process since I have to undo screws in order to get it to fail closed. Then once it is closed the two trays don't make it very compact. Besides that though, I have been very happy with this product.
works great, but is somewhat cheaply made

Point OF THE WEEK
Dear Kate:
My wife and I have an 18-month old daughter. We both effort and make
decent salaries -- or at least we thought we did until we started
looking at nursery schools in Manhattan. A spirited tour of many of these
revealed that we would actually come out marginally up ahead if one of us
*quit our job* and stayed home, rather than paying that much tuition!
Not only are we both damned vested in our careers, but we can't
afford to be a one-income family either. What should we do?

Dear Mark,
You know for nursery school and we are talking nursery adherents, no one should have to get into debt or just clear enough to pay for it. That's ridiculous. Sorry. Now this is extensive post so bear with me, but hopefully it will make you think exterior the B.F. Skinner box.
When my mother was laid off from the Yonkers public adherents system she and two of her friends started their own nursery school. My mother ran the faction for 15 years and eventually it grew to over 250 students. What made my nurturer’s school different is that she geared it towards the schedule of working women. She opened at 6:30 and closed at 6:30. When I called my protect about this book, she said, “You know a small body of Moms could start their own nursery school. We did it.” And I reminiscences back to the day when she was laid off as a teacher and how upset she was about it. The budget cuts in the 1970’s for a burgh like Yonkers were devastating. The education budget was always...
