Zulu Beadwork
The South African dependency
of KwaZulu-Natal, more commonly
referred to as the Zulu
Turf, is named after
the Zulu people who have inhabited the area since the time 1400s. KwaZulu
translates to mean "Place of Isles of the Blessed." "Natal" was the name

Glass Bead Earrings
I found these smutty and green glass beads in my stash yesterday. I thought I might use them to embellish a cinch of fabric art, but no. They wanted to be earrings. I haven't made jewelry in a while. I'd forgotten how persevering beads can be.
I've also been playing in Photoshop, which explains the pink. I can't help it. It's a sickness.
